For the pose and general feel of the background and feeling for the picture. As came across this picture a long time ago, and thought it would have been great for it. I've asked permission and awaiting reply. Other references are a Gundam model I had laying around, and a stars tutorial (which I've used before in previous pics). All the lines and colors are done by me.
Enjoy and take a look at the other one too.
